This lovely space has just become free on the first floor of The Old Print Works. It was most recently a gallery, but we are open to a range of creative uses. A new cafe operator will be taking over the space below shortly and an active yoga studio operates on the second floor above. The Old Print Works houses a large number of other creative ventures including a co-working space, pottery, darkroom, youth arts hub, textiles space and a CDT workshop along with studios let to makers and artists. For this space, we would be looking for a use that fits and adds to the overall offer in the building.

The space

  • The space is in total approximately 1000 sq ft and is on the first floor and at the front of the main building.

  • It is split into two spaces; the smaller one measuring approximately 140 sq ft would be suitable for a meeting room or office.

  • It is on the main Moseley Road in the heart of Balsall Heath and is easily accessed by the No 50 bus every 4 minutes from the city centre/Moseley. There is also plenty of cycle parking.

  • It has views of the iconic Moseley Road Baths and Balsall Heath Library, and we are next door to the newly refurbished Moseley School of Art building.

  • The space has access to shared toilets in the basement.

  • We would be aiming for a rent of circa £800/month plus services charge plus metered electricity. If you meet some of our charitable objectives we may be able to offer it for a little less.

  • Unfortunately this space is not disabled accessible as we currently do not have a lift.

  • We will also look at your set-up costs and, if they are very high, we may be able to reduce the rent a little in the short term.

We are very happy to show the space and talk over the possibilities with you. If you are interested please fill in the form below to tell us a bit about what you would want to use the space for.
